Privacy

The present document aims to give a general description of the management procedures for the website of the Law Firm of Fabrizio Signorini (fabriziosignorini.com/it – studiolegalesignorini.it, hereinafter referred to as the “Portal”), with reference to the handling of users’ personal data. It is a document of a general nature which gives information on the criteria for the correct handling of personal data given to the Attorney, and specifies the procedures and the aims of data handling relevant to the provision of specific services and/or information of various kinds.

The present document deliberately retrieves the contents of the Privacy Policy applied by the Authority for the Protection of Personal Data, with reference to the handling of the personal data of users who access the official website  www.garanteprivacy.it . complies with the policies on the protection of privacy as required, from the Consolidated Law on the protection of personal data (Legislative Decree 3 June 2003, no. 196, Privacy Code), and also the precautions and procedures which the Authority has specified in the document on Privacy Policy published on the Authority’s official website. These include the indications contained in Recommendation no. 2/2001, adopted on 17 May 2001 by the European authorities for the protection of personal data, gathered in the Group set up by Article 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC, to identify minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online, and, in particular, the procedures, times, and nature of the information which  data controllers must provide to the users when the users connect to web pages, regardless of their reason for connecting

Moreover, the handling of personal data on the Portal will take place in full compliance with the provisions of the Office of the Authority’s opinion of 3 June 2004, Prot. No. 22457 – issued in agreement with the National Bar Council – on the protection of personal data in the execution of legal activities (privacy and law firms).

Data handling connected to this Portal’s web services takes place at the aforementioned Headquarters of the Law Firm and is carried out directly by the Holder or by external professionals, occasionally charged with maintenance operations. 

The communication and any dissemination of personal data is carried out in compliance with the Privacy Code: with the consent of the party concerned or where required by law in accordance with Articles 24 and 25 of the Code. Categories and types of personal data which can be handled. Navigation data. These data are used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check the it is functioning correctly, and are deleted immediately after handling. The data may be used to verify responsibility in case of cybercrime causing damage to the Portal: except in this situation, data are not permanently stored.

Data provided voluntarily by the user. The optional, explicit and voluntary  sending of emails to the addresses indicated on the Portal entails the subsequent acquisition of the address of the sender, which is necessary to reply to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the email. Use of permanent cookies or tracing/monitoring systems belonging to the user. No personal data on this are acquired by the Portal. Optionality of providing data. Apart from what is specified for navigation data, users are always free to provide personal data for the objective which leads them to connect to the Portal (online legal consultancy, request for information via forms or email, registration for newsletters, etc.). However, failure to provide data can in some cases make it impossible to achieve the desired result.

Handling procedures. Personal data are handled with automated tools for as long as is strictly necessary to achieve the aims for which they are collected. Specific security measures are observed to avoid data loss, illicit or incorrect use of data, and unauthorised access to data..

Rights of the parties concerned. The party to which the personal data refer has the right at all times to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of these data and to know the data’s content and origin, to check their accuracy, or to request additions, modifications or amendments (Art. 7 of Legislative Decree. no. 196/2003). Under the same article, the party concerned has the right to request the deletion, anonymisation or blocking of data handled in violation of the law, as well as the right to oppose the handling of these data for legitimate reasons.
